MONTHLY PARISH BREAKFAST: Our monthly parish breakfast will be held this morning in the parish hall after Divine Liturgy. All are welcome.

PARISH BEAUTIFICATION DAY – at Sept 2), we will be cleaning up the flower beds and picnic areas among other projects. We hope to start about 9:00 am. We will have hotdogs & sausages for lunch at noon and then work until about 4 pm. Afterward, we’ll have a cookout. Even if you can’t come all day, please come and join us for the afternoon cookout. Through the generosity of the Greek Catholic Union (GCU), the parish will provide the meats, buns and picnic supplies. Please bring a side dish to share. See Reader Joe for more information.

KOLACHI BAKING DAY – We will have our next kolachi baking day in preparation for the fall festival tentatively on September 22nd. All are welcome to help roll and bake kolachi following Divine Liturgy. If you don’t know how to bake them, we will teach you.

CHILD EASTERN CATHOLIC FORMATION (ECF): William Bridges has the lead for this year’s ECF program and has put together a notional program. Please contact him if you would like your children to attend and/or if you are interested in teaching a particular age group. The first few lessons will be held after Divine Liturgy in the pews. We have a large variety of ages which will require the kids to be broken into age groups. Any help is greatly appreciated.

PIZZA AND MOVIE NIGHT: To kick off the new church year, we are considering having a monthly pizza and movie night on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. The first ones will tentatively be held on September 10th ( Star Wars) and October 8th (Princess Bride). More details will be forthcoming next week. Please feel free to make suggestions.
