Third Hour

On Sunday mornings at 7:40 AM (20 minutes before Divine Liturgy) we are praying the third hour found here.

PARKING LOT: Thank you for your patience while we take measures to address the mud in the parking lot that resulted from the city’s storm drain repair. We will be reconfiguring the parking spaces to line up along the berm next to the road and not next to the residential fences on the opposite side. To make this happen, we need to purchase parking blocks to mark off the new spaces. These are priced at about $85 each. If you would like to donate a parking block or contribute to the cause, please include with your Sunday offering, designating the amount to put toward the parking lot. Contributions of any amount are welcome and most appreciated.

MONTHLY PARISH BREAKFAST: Our monthly parish breakfast will be Sunday, February 4th, after Divine Liturgy in the parish hall. Please bring a dish to share. This will be the last “full” breakfast until after the Great Fast, so please plan to join us for some good food and fellowship.

PIEROGI MAKING WORKSHOP: is tentatively scheduled for Sunday March 3 and will be led by the ladies who work the Ukrainian Victory Kitchen. More details to follow in the forthcoming weeks. Please save the date if you are interested in learning how to make pierogis.

UKRAINE RELIEF: Please consider donating to our second collection for our brothers and sisters in Ukraine. The money will be sent there to care for refugees and for all the people there who are suffering from effects of the war. Please leave your donations in the collection plate on the table in the Narthex.

HRAMOTY LIST (List of the deceased): Please remember to submit a list of your deceased loved ones to be commemorated on the 5 All Souls Saturdays with your Sunday offering. There is an envelope and card to list new names included with your church envelopes for January 14th. Please write on the card all changes to the list of deceased members of your family to be remembered in prayer. If there are no changes, please write “no changes.” The offering should be made out to Father Alex Shuter, not OLPH. We will commemorate the first All Soul’s Saturday after Divine Liturgy on February 4th. If you have any questions, please see Reader Joe.

PRAYER REMEMBRANCE FOR THE SICK, INJURED, AND IN NEED: June KELLY, Christine ARTO, Roman DRYMALOVSKY, Kathy RAUSCH, Jim FITZGIBBONS, Shane WAGSTAFF, Lois WIENKOWSKI, Ron WIENKOWSKI, Vic and Veronica GRUNNING, Lisa LIEDL, Jerry LIEDL, Gerald LIEDL, Barbara WILEY, Kathy REITER, Tommy & Pat HINES, Linda GETZ, Earle, Aziel LOWRY, Declan CONNERFORD, Joey & Marty FELIX,Tetiana DZHYNDZHOLIA, Paul and Carolyn JANKA, Tish MOYLE, Dee SANCHEZ, Olga CEHELSKA, and all our service men and women throughout the world.
