When receiving Holy Communion, approach Fr. Alex telling him your name, tilt back your head, and widely open your mouth (no need to extend your tongue). Father will distribute the Eucharist with a one-use wooden spoon.

ETERNAL MEMORY: Joseph FELIX son of Daniel and Jennifer Felix died in Philadelphia, PA. Father Alex Shuter will celebrate a memorial Divine Liturgy on Saturday, August 17th at 10:00 am. The Felix Family will receive friends and family in the Parish Hall immediately after liturgy.

UKRAINE RELIEF REMINDER: Donations for Ukraine Relief can be put in the collection plate on the table in the Narthex (church entryway) or included in your Sunday offering envelope, indicating the amount. The money will be sent to Ukraine to care for refugees and for all the people there who are suffering from the effects of the war. Thank you for your generous donations.
KOLACHI BAKING DAY – We will have our first kolachi baking day of the year this morning in preparation for the fall festival. All are welcome to help roll and bake kolachi following Divine Liturgy. If you don’t know how to bake them, we will teach you. Any help is greatly appreciated.
EMAIL SCAM: Please be alert! Several people have received an email from a sender claiming to be Father Alex. The email asks the receiver to “help” Father Alex by buying gift cards and then emailing a photo of the back of the cards, showing the card number, in return. It states that Father Alex is trying to help a few women who have cancer. Do not respond to the email or send photos of gift cards! It is a scam. If Father Alex needs help with something, he will always ask in person; never by email.
