When receiving Holy Communion, approach Fr. Alex telling him your name, tilt back your head, and widely open your mouth (no need to extend your tongue). Father will distribute the Eucharist with a one-use wooden spoon.

FEAST OF SAINTS PETER AND PAUL: We will celebrate the feast of St Peter and St Paul during Divine Liturgy next Sunday, June 30th, due to the holy day falling on the Saturday before. These two leading saints of the early church share the same holy day!

SCHEDULING LITURGIES: Father Alex’s calendar has openings in 2024. If you have an occasion to give thanks: graduation from school, a birthday or a special anniversary, or if you have a special need or want to remember parents or family members who have gone before us, Liturgy would be a great opportunity to do so. Please see Father Alex or Reader Joe to schedule.

UKRAINE RELIEF REMINDER : Donations for Ukraine Relief can be put in the collection plate on the table in the Narthex (church entryway) or included in your Sunday offering envelope, indicating the amount. The money will be sent to the Ukraine to care for refugees and for all the people there who are suffering from the effects of the war. Thank you for your past generous donations.

INDEPENDENCE DAY PICNIC – On Thursday July 4, we will have an Independence Day Picnic at the church from 4pm – 7pm. The Greek Catholic Union (GCU) is supplying the hamburgers, hot dogs, buns, condiments, and paper goods. Everyone is requested to bring drinks and a side dish. There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex (church entryway). We will be inviting neighbors around the church to join us as guests. We will wrap up the picnic at 7pm so that everyone can go to better sites to watch the fireworks.

PARISH FESTIVAL – Save the date! The second Saturday in November, November 9th, will likely be the date for our Eastern European Food Festival. We need many volunteers to make it a success. Please reserve the date on your calendar.

BIBLE STUDY is held every Wednesday in person and online at 7 pm following Moleben. Join online athttps://zoom.us/joinor on the Zoom app:
